Ingredients :
2 - 3 cucumbeers
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp of oil
pinch of asafoetida
1/2 tsp jaggery
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp of coriander powder
salt ot taste
How to prepare :
Dice the cucumber into medium big cubes with or without skin both taste good.
I prefer to keep them with skin.
Heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds and asafoetida
Once the seeds crackle add cucumber and saute and cover it with a lid for 2 minutes
Once you open the lid you will see the cucumbers are cooked as they will leave water and become soft.
Add salt and all indian spices at this point and saute.
Add Jaggery and cover the lid again
Off the flames after two minutes.
Serve it with Rotis.
