Coconut Burfis / Coconut Ladoos

 Coconut burfi / Coconut ladoos 

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Serves : 4
Ingredients :
Dry Coconut Powder 100 gms or shredded coconut (1)
1 can condensed milk (small can)
1 cup of sugar
food color (red)
dry fruit to decorate (I have used almonds)
2 spoons of ghee to roast coconut powder

In a Nonstick Pan add ghee
Once the ghee is little hot add coconut powder and start roasting it slightly till you can smell its aroma (dont roast for more than 5 mins)
Add condensed milk and sugar
Mix a pinch of food color in 2 spoons of milk and pour it in the coconut mix
mix everything well and off the flame.
Let it cool till you are able to touch and make balls of burfis out of it.

Note : you can even make this dish without roasting it. Just mix everything and form ladoos or burfis. But roasting gives it a nice flavour.
