Serves : 2-4
Ingredients -
1/2 cup Rice
2 tsp ghee
4 cups of Milk
1 cup sugar (if you like more sweet you can add more sugar)
Dryfruit (Cashew and Raisins)
Pinch of Cardamon Powder
Pink Grapes to decorate
How to prepare :
- In a nonstick wok take 2 tsp of ghee
- Add rice and roast it for about 4-5 mins
- You can also do it with other method is just mix rice and ghee
Remove it from the Wok and keep aside
- In the same wok add cashews and raisins and roast for about a minute and remove them too.
- Boil milk in a wok on a medium high flame.
- Let the milk boil till it gets thick and the quantity is reduced and you may see the color changing to creamish. Add rice to it and let the rice get cooked in the warm / hot milk.
- Keep stirring occasionally so it doesn't stick at the bottom and on the sides of the wok
- Once the milk is thick enough add sugar, cardamom powder and stir again.
- Add dryfruits and remove it in a serving bowl an decorate with grapes.
- Serve hot / chilled
