Sabudana Khichdi

Ingredients :
1. 1 cup Sabudana / Sago
2. 1 Large Potato (Cut into square or Boiled)
3. ½ cup peanut powder
4. 1 teaspoon Ghee
5. 1 teaspoon Jeera
6. 3 – 4 green chillies (spicy as per the taste)
7. 5-6 curry leaves
8. Rock Salt (Sendha Namak)
9. 2 spoons of Sugar (optional)
10. 1 lime

Soak Sabudana overnight in 1 ½ glass of water overnight. Sabudana should turn soft . Check them before you start the process . Cut the gree chillies and potatoes.
Now in a Pan or Kadhai add a spoon of ghee / jeera / curry leaves and potatoes as shown in the picture and add salt. Let the potatoes turn little crispy and soft. Add Sabudana and Peanut powder and add little more salt as per your taste and mix it well. Add sugar and lime (optional) but it enhances the taste. Serve hot with raita. I prefer to have it with plain curd or fruit raitas.
