Gujrati Masala Bhakri is a Tea-Time Snack or Picnic recipe. Goes well with tea, milk, pickles, curd or any vegetable too or even have as it is.

Ingredients :
- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 3-4 spoons of oil
- 1/2 tsp of sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp of carom seeds
- 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp of red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp of coriander powder
- 1/2 glass of water
- salt to taste
- Mix all the above ingredients in a mixing bowl to kneed a hard dough.
- Compare to roti this dough is little harder and its to be kneaded with very little water at a time (as shown in the pictures)
- Once the dough is formed keep aside for 10 minutes
- Divide the dough into 6-8 equal flat rounds
- Roll the ball into flat round shape small semi thick bhakri (as shown in the picture)
- Heat tawa or a nonstick flat pan / tawa
- Cook one side of the bhakri (usually top is to be cooked first)
- Once u see small balls on the bhakri turn it to the next side.
- Cook both the side till golden brown and as it start fluffing press it with wooden round presser which is used specially for bhakris.
- Press it gently on a medium low flame and turn till it is golden brown, crisp.
- Apply Ghee or oil.
- Serve Hot.
