Milk Pedhas

Preparation Time : 10 minutes 
Cooking Time       : 10 minutes 

Ingredients : 
1/2 cup of sugar (powdered sugar) or you can grind the regular sugar to powder 
1 cup of milk powder 
1/3 cup of milk 
1/3 cup of water (optional. Will require only if you make a sugar syrup) 
2 spoons of butter 
pinch of cardamon powder 
crush 4-5 pistachois in semi powder form 


How to prepare : 
In a Wok or a flat bottom pan add butter and add milk powder and saute on a medium low flame. Add milk and saute. 
In another vessel mix sugar and water and let it boil on a medium low flame. 
Note : This step can be skipped also by adding sugar directly. Then you dont need water 
Saute the mixture on a low flame till you see the butter getting seperated and the milk powder gets solid (just like mava / khoya). 
You can add little more sugar if you like more sweet. 
Add cardamon Powder and mix everything gently. 
Grease a plate with ghee and remove the mixture from the Pan on the greased plate 
Spread the mixture and let it cool till you are able to form pedhas
