These cutlets are made from raw banana or kache kele in hindi or kaacha kela in gujrati.
This is a jain recipe where potatoes are replaced by banana. Tastes awesome :)

Ingredients :
- 4 raw bananas
- 1 cup of sweet corn kernels
- 1/2 cup of green peas (optional)
- 1 tsp of lemon juice or 1/2 lemon to squeeze
- 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp of red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp of sugar
- 1/2 tsp of sesame seeds
- salt to taste
- 2 tsp of oil to pan fry
- some semolina (rava) to coat the cutlets
- some coriander leaves and cheese to decorate.
How to prepare :
- In a pressure cooker add 1 glass of water and in a bowl put bananas and put them in cooker.
- Note ; Do not put water in the vessel you have kept bananas in.
- Pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles.
- Remove it from cooker and mash the bananas and keep aside.
- Steam corn kernels and green peas for 10 minutes or so.
- In a mixing bowl add mashed bananas, corn, peas, salt, sugar,lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, sesame seeds and mix everything nicely.
- Let the mixture settle for 5 minutes and let the masala get absorbed nicely.
- Add little oil to your palms and make a round shape tikkis or cutlets or whichever shape you like and coat each tikki in some semolina.
- Heat a tawa or a nonstick pan add 2 tsp of oil and shallow fry cutlets till brown from both the end.
- Serve it with some corn kernels , grated cheese and coriander leaves.
- Serve it with ketchups / chutneys :)
