Paneer Burji Dosa

Inspired by the street hawkers dosas here is a try on paneer burji dosa and also to give you a break from masala dosas :)


Kids favourite and best anytime quick dosa you would love to have.

Preparation Time  : 20 minutes
Cooking Time       : 30 minutes

This above time is once the Batter and Paneer is ready.

Ingredients :
  • Dosa Batter 
  • 100 or 200 gms Paneer grated or scrumbled 
  • 1 medium green capsicum diced 
  • 2 medium onions diced 
  • 2 medium tomatoes diced 
  • salt to taste 
  • 1 tsp of garam masala 
  • some butter to apply on dosa 
  • 2 tsp of oil 
  • 1 tsp of cumin seeds (optional) 
  • 1/2 tsp of red chili powder 
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp of coriander cumin powder 
  • 1/2 tsp of sugar (optional) 
How to prepare Paneer Burji filling for Dosas : 
  • Heat a wok with 1 tsp of oil and add cumin seeds 
  • Add onions and saute till they turn translucent 
  • Add capsicum and saute a little 
  • Add tomatoes and saute till they are soft 
  • Add paneer and add salt, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander cumin powder , pinch of sugar and crush it with a pavbhaji crusher and mix everything nicely 
  • Your Paneer Burji is ready. You can also have this with rotis or Parathas :) 
Dosa with Paneer Burji 

  • Heat a nonstick pan and spread the dosa batter and add butter on it.
  • Now add the paneer burji in the middle of the dosa and let the dosa get cooked nicely and cripsy 
  • You can add more butter as required. You can even grate some cheese on the paneer burji filling. 
  • Now fold the dosa from both the ends (as per the picture) and serve it with ketchups and chutneys.
