Spinach Corn Cheese Brown Bread Toast 


Delicious combo- goodness of corn and spinach alongwith cheese..in brown bread... tempting !!!

Prepartion Time: 10 minutes 

Cooking Time : 10 minutes 
Ingredients : 

  • Brown bread slices, 
  • Bunch of spinach
  • 1 cup corn
  • around 5-6 Cheese Slices 
  • some butter
  • salt
  • pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp of oregano 
  • 1/2 tsp of basil leaves 
  • 1/2 tsp of all purpose flour (maida) 
  •  4 tsp of milk 
  • 1/2 tsp of oil 

How to prepare : 

  • Heat oil in a pan and add corn and saute 
  • Cut the spinach into long stripes , wash thoroughly 2-3 times and add into corn and saute again. 
  • Add little salt to it and saute for 2-4 minutes on medium high flame 
  • Now add all purpose flour, little milk and mix well for 2 more minutes till it becomes little thick. Add 1 cheese slice nd let it melt. 
  • Add 1/2 tsp of butter and oregano, basil leaves, black pepper powder and mix everything nicely. Let it cool by the time you are preparing your breads for toast. 
  • Heat a nonstick pan and apply little butter on it. 
  • Take a bread slice apply butter and spincach corn mixture on it and put it on heated nonstick pan and let it get toast on a medium flame. Take another sliced of buttered bread and put it on this and close it for toast sandwich. 
  • You can even add cheese slice into the bread and then toast. 
  • Toast from both the sides nicely till it turns brown and crisp. 
  • Serve it with chutneys or kethcups. 
  • Note : You can use toaster as well for this but if you dont have you can do it on tawa or any nonstick pan to.
